The Ministry of Defence has released video footage taken from inside the planes that took part in the Queen's Diamond jubilee flyby down The Mall.

The footage in the clip is taken from the Lancaster bomber, through the Lancaster's famous perspex nose cupola, a clear portion of the nose of the plane which was originally used by bomb aimers.

The clip shows the four prop plane flying down The Mall towards Buckingham palace.

A second angle, from the rear of the plane, between the rear guns is then show, with a spitfire just below, followed by a wing camera angle, showing the spitfires flying in close formation.

The flypast marked the end of the Queen's public appearances during the Jubilee, which started with the Derby on Saturday, and river pageant on Monday, a service at Saint Paul's, culminating in the balcony appearance.
