Australian Kirsty Boden, 28, was confirmed to have died on Tuesday following the terror attack in London

In a statement, her family said: "Kirsty was loved and adored by her family, friends and boyfriend. She was the most outgoing, kind and generous person who loved to help people. Helping people was what she loved to do in her job as a nurse and in her daily life.

She was from Loxton in southern Australia and had been working in the UK as a nurse.

Guy's and St Thomas' hospital has confirmed that London attack victim Kirsty Boden was one of its nurses.

Dame Eileen Sills, Chief Nurse at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, said: "I cannot put into words how sad I am that we have lost one of our own.

"Our thoughts at this time are with her family, her loved ones and our staff who have lost a dear friend and colleague."

Reports in Australia have stated her mother is flying to the UK and the family are preparing themselves for the worst news.

Several Australian and New Zealand nationals have been caught up in these attacks with some still recovering in hospital.
