Nelsen continues at Tottenham

It appears likely All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen will remain with London’s Tottenham Hotspur after weeks of speculation about his future.

Nelsen will be offered a one-year option on his contract at Spurs, after rumours of a return to DC United were quashed by Nelsen’s management, who said the defender would be staying in England. The New Zealander joined Tottenham on the last day of the free agency window at the end of January, but played in only three EPL games, making eight appearances overall for the club.
