Just when you thought this celebrity power couple with their immaculate genetic make-up and sickening likeability, couldn't get more perfect, Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel were spotted helping victims of hurricane Sandy on Saturday.

The couple wed in Italy last month, and after returning from their honeymoon in Tanzania, they were spotted handing out supplies to those affected by the disaster at a shopping centre in Rockaway, Queens last week.

The pop star and his actress wife were photographed dishing out food and knapsacks full of essentials to members of the public, along with Timberlake's producer pal Timbaland.

Timberlake previously sent his sympathies to the victims of Sandy in a post on Twitter. "Taking in the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy... my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that was affected," he wrote.

Sandy devastated America's East Coast when it hit on October 29, with New York, New Jersey and North Carolina the worst affected, leaving millions without power, while hundreds lost their homes.

A number of other stars have contributed to aid efforts over the last few days - pop star Justin Bieber has pledged a portion of the proceeds from his upcoming shows in New York and New Jersey, and Lady Gaga has given $US1 million ($A966,324) (625,000) to the American Red Cross.
